Likhita Japa, Opening Prayers
Since this was the last class of Balavihar, we recapped portions of Ramayana and Vibheeshana Gita; discussed some of the main parts of the story. As a recap of Vibheeshana Gita, we shared Milwaukee Chinmaya Balavihar's presentation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEW2HGyd78Y&t=31s . We enjoyed watching with them, went over various parts of the chariot and the symbolic meaning behind them.
We also watched a video on 'Why should we pray?' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr7NulwMTSs , narrated by Gurudev himself. When we asked kids their favorite recollection in the past year, many kids shared that they enjoyed listening to the story and doing the play.
We also went over the meaning of 'Prema Mudita manasa Kaho Ram' bhajan.
We concluded this year with Aarthi, Closing prayers and Pledge.
As this year's Balavihar comes to a close, we would like to sincerely thank each one of you for being wonderful parents, responding on time to our requests and cooperating with us always.
Though it was all online, we had a great time teaching (and also learning) a wonderful group of kids.
Wish you all a great summer and hope to be back in ashram soon for the next academic year.
