Hari Om Parents!
Today was the twenty-third class of Balavihar!! Here is the summary of what we covered in class today:
After everyone joined the Zoom session:
1. We started the class with the Opening prayers. We together chanted Om three times and then chanted Sahana vavatu. A new kid who joined class today, so we explained the class curriculum and the most of the kids chanted the bhajans we learnt so far- Ganesh, Krishna, Rama and Hanuman.
2. Then we introduced The Pledge and had a Brainstorming session of what it means- A pledge is a vow, an oath, a promise that we take. While saying the pledge, we
place our right hand over our heart. God is within us so when we say our pledge with our right hand placed over our heart, we are making a promise to the Lord that from now onwards, I shall live accordingly.
3. And discussed the first sentence - "We stand as one Family, bound to each other with love and respect".
4.For Story time, through the story - United we stand -we learnt that by staying together you can achieve the impossible and defend yourself better.
5. We had asked Parents to join at 10, to review the draft recordings of the kid's videos and discussed the next steps and recommendations for the Class Play.
6. After this we said our closing prayers and ended the session.
Thank you parents for making your kids practice and for sending us the draft recordings to help us review the flow and decide on revisions. Thank you for your time and for joining today's session to discuss with us. All kids are doing wonderful and we are thoroughly enjoying with them.
