Hope you and the children enjoyed the Presidents day long weekend Welcome to week 15 of Balavihar 2020-2021 KG Sunday PM session. Today's session we had a lot of fun activities including the house spirit day. The children are making excellent progress in their slokas and alphabets. Thanks to the parents for taking the extra effort in ensuring their attendance during the sunday sessions.

  1. We revised all Slokas with each one being led by enthusiastic children. It gives great pleasure to see the children starting to pick up these slokas and you should be proud of them as well.

  1. Today we started our a new Yoga / Exercise break. We learnt the following fun poses and hope you can practice them with your child at home as well

  1. Following this the kids then took turns to revise all the Alphabets and their description with actions from A thru V. Keeping in mind the upcoming class presentation, each child was asked to perform the actions that goes with each alphabet.  

  2. We had partially covered W - Work, but we came back to repeat the same with a new story. We discussed briefly with children how they would react when they have homework, or prepare for a test, or when their parents ask them to clean the room, or when house chores have to be done. Would they do the work enthusiastically or would laze around? 

  3. We then took a coloring break for W.

  1. We then played the scavenger hunt as part of the house spirit activity and the kids has a lot of fun hunting for various items at home

  1. We then switched the sessions to join the house day and wrapped up with pledge

Next Session Agenda

  1. Revise alphabets, slokas and bhajan covered in previous sessions. All these are available in today's class slide deck

  2. We will revise 5 verses of Geeta chanting and proceed to verse 5&6. We are ok to offer additional 1-1 classes during the week if their children want to spend extra time learning the Geeta Chanting verses. Parents can reach out to us in our whatsapp group

  3. Alphabets: We will proceed to X,Y,Z.
