This class was an "Activity" Class.
After our initial prayers, we did a recap of the entire Mahabharata in pictures. This was the basis on which activities were planned. The class was broken into 3 groups randomly. Each group would do these activities together.
Our first activity was about the Mahabharata Number sequence. There were two parts - Part A and Part B. A sample of Part A sequence is given below.
The second activity was about the Mahabharata Picture sequence. There was a jumbled slide deck. The kids were supposed to make a copy of this and then sequence it together. (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1mydsp55zpWZ-TWqjkL646oW3lFMnS2f07UbzxE6in-w/edit?usp=sharing).
The class did these activities very well. They were discussing amongst themselves to fill in the gaps of their understanding and stitched the story together. They also enjoyed it a lot and told us that they would like to have more such activities. They finished both the assignments in the class itself. However, we have asked them to review the second activity with their teams. We plan to give them the answer key for this in the upcoming class.
