Hari Om Parents,
The first class highlighted the summary of activities, chanting, games that we will undertake for the rest of the Bala-Vihar year.
We started with Om shahnavahute prayer followed by asking kids their names and about the materials that they remembered from 3rd grade.
We played a fun activity called Ice Breaker with virtual dice roll where the number on the dice would be associated with fun questions like what is your hobby or what you did in the summer vacation.
We will be covering different verses of Govinda Damodara Strotram this year and initiated kids to chant the first verse which is Karaa-Ravindena versa. The meaning of this verse was explained to the kids.
The video introducing Sanskrit sounds and pronunciation was played to familiarize with Sanskrit language.
Today's bala-vihar session concluded with kids and parents by joining a common room for Aarti and pledge in Swami Shantananda's presence.
