Hari Om parents,
Hope everyone is doing well. Here is a summary of our class -
1. We started with 3 OM's and chanted the shlokas for Lord Ganesha, Devi Saraswati and our Guru.
2. We then chanted the Dhyaan shlok
3. We decided to chant the Chalisa a different way, we chanted a part of verse and kids completed the verse. It was awesome to see everyone participate and try their best. 👏👏 Great job by the kids.
4. We discussed about how Hanumanji crossed the ocean to find Devi Sita. How the bridge was built, which animals helped etc. It was an interesting discussion. Here is a story we wanted to share but ran out of time - https://youtu.be/jqfiwoWHMv4
4. Monthly program - We did a trial run of our program and it went well. Just a few reminders -
* Please look directly at the camera while saying your part. We noticed kids looking sideways as they had their lines on a different device or paper. Sharing the script link here so they can open it up on their machine and look at the camera. * As this is a pre recorded show, we would like to record a few times to make sure we get the best version. So it is a request that all kids be present for all the practices. We just have 2 weeks left.
5. We then joined the assembly to watch the 9th grade show.Awesome job by 9th graders!
