Gita Chanting
We reviewed 1 through 25 verses, kids getting turns for chanting verses assigned.
We started to learn the 26th, 27th and 28th slokas from this year's topic- Chapter 2 Saankhya Yoga. We followed Swamiji's chanting video and we repeated it.
Key to Success
Boomerang- We reap what we sow - so it is in our best interests to do good deeds!
Vibhisana Gita- From RamcharitManas by Tulsidas ji. The conversation between Vibhisana who was really concerned and showed compassion on Rama who just stood on the battle ground with just His bow and arrows.... while Ravana had all magical weapons and blackmagic which does anything to win over the opponent.
Lord Rama told Vibhisana about not to worry and He is ready to face Ravana with the Dharma chariot He has. The Lord says anyone having this chariot sees only victory and hence it is also called the Vijaya Ratha.

The wheels of the chariot are souraja- showing valor and courage and being fearless and showing the act of bravery.
To fight the fear to overcome the attachment. Detached mind alone can be fearless. If we overcome any unwanted attachment, the fear is gone.
The next wheel is dhiraja, fortitude, patience-- showing strength while facing difficulty.
Fortitude-- showing strength at the crucial situation: not running away from a problem, but facing it and accepting it trying to solve and untie the crooked knots. As Arjuna was confused before the start of the war as he was attached much to his grandfather and guru, The Lord explained the practical walks of life as to doing our duty is very important. When Arjuna's confused mind calmed, he could focus on his karma with a clear mind and do his duty to the fullest. He gained strength and did not shatter. To be as calm as the mighty ocean. With a greater depth , the ocean accepts whatever is poured into, the ocean knows to take it. Whatever experience comes to us, we must know to take it. If we have these wheels we can skate and go around life.
We concluded today's short session with Shanti mantra and then moved to the main zoom assembly link, where grade 5 put up a great show on saints of India.
