Hari Om Parents,
We started class with starting prayers and meditation, with a prompt
to focus on the inflection point between inhale and exhale where Devi
is supposed to appear as per Vignana Bhairava Tantra.
We then learned a Vedic chant on Lord Shiva- Namasthay Asthu Bhagavan...
The class started to take a look at dharma as given so beautifully in
the Chinmaya Mission pledge .
We stand as one family bound to each other with love and respect.
To respond to love and respect in kind is relatively easy. How to
summon love and respect when one does not receive it?
We serve as an army, courageous and disciplined, ever ready to fight
against all low tendencies and false values, within and without us.
To be disciplined, one must have some level of recognition of one's
tendencies- we had started sharing what we think are our low
tendencies.
Class ended early, at around 7.40 for House Spirit Day. The children's
task in the activity was to combine 3 random pictures into a business
idea. For a product/service , and to come up with a jingle/promo, all
within 20 mins. Hope you all got to watch the final share by the 8
teams. One of the teams (Durga's Daredevils) won the first prize
