Hari Om Parents,
Guidelines about annual presentation preparation by children was explained to them. We will update the parents on whatsapp or via email soon.
Activities this week included Bhagwatam story, riddle, puzzle, chanting and lesson from 24 gurus book.
Bal Vihar class proceeded in the following order.
1)We started with opening prayers-Om Sahana Vahvatu prayer.
2) Chapter 6th of the book Krishna, Krishna was read.
Pragnesh narrated the story about king Parikshiit continuing to read Bhagwatam to liberate himself by following it's principles.
This week narration was about Krishna and his divine plays in Gokula.
How Ma Yashoda was astonished as she again saw the entire cosmos in Krishna's mouth when he had eaten the mud.
The beautiful story also explained how Nalakubara and Manigriva who were cursed by Narada to become trees until Krishna freed them.
3) Govidam strotram verses were chanted.
4) Pronunciation of verses from Bhagawad Gita were recited by them, guided by Swami Shantananadaji.
5) Verses from Gita were chanted by the children.
6) Python riddle was asked from my 24 gurus book. Roopaji conducted this. The python and its qualities were symbolized in spiritual context.
Like a python, one should be content with any food that comes our way. It does not fuss over food it gets. We eat through our senses and let us not fuss over what we get in our plate.
7) We concluded with Aarti and Chinmaya missions pledge.
