To spend more time on Geeta chanting we started this activity early this afternoon. We revised our first, second & third verses of Geeta chanting activity. We once again attempted to take a word by word approach and the children are slowly picking up the pronunciations. We recommend extra practice at home using the links in the document shared above.
We started our discussion on the alphabet L with discussing if we can live without various things like air, water, food, smell without nose, see without eyes etc . The kids enjoyed this discussion as we further extended it to how a child loves their parents and vice versa, and how God loves everyone. We learnt about Mahatma Gandhiji's love for all the citizens of India and how they in turn loved him as the father of the nation. How his love for everyone, including a thief helped turn him into a good
person and stop stealing.
And finally we closed with closing prayer followed by Aarthi
om sarve bhavantu sukhinah
sarve santu niramayah
sarve bhadrani pashyantu
Ma kaschid dukhabhagbhavet.
om shanti shanti shantih
