  1. We followed by learning a new alphabet M - Matrdevo Bhava. We discussed how all the kids experience the love from their mother, all that she does for them each and every day. We first shared the story of Chiku the Panda, whose mother kissed his palm, which made him feel that she was always with him wherever he felt lonely. Chiku who was afraid of going to school, was now able to do so, as now he could feel his Mom's love with him all the time.

We also discussed another story of Rudra, the young boy who tried to extract an allowance from his mother for all the help he was providing at home. But when his mother shared with him the list of all the tasks that she has been doing for everyone at home, every day for so many years, without anyone offering her any money, but just out of love, he was very embarrassed. He learnt the value of his Mother and the selfless work and love that she has been showering on him. From that day, he started doing his chores diligently and without any complaints.

  1. We spent some time on Geeta chanting and again revised our first, second & third verses of Geeta chanting activity. We continue to take a word by word approach and the children are slowly picking up the pronunciations. We recommend extra practice at home using the links in the document shared above..

  2. And finally we closed with closing prayer followed by Aarthi

om sarve bhavantu sukhinah

sarve santu niramayah

sarve bhadrani pashyantu

Ma kaschid dukhabhagbhavet.

om shanti shanti shantih
