Hari Om Parents!
Today was the fifth class of Balavihar!!Here is the summary of what we covered in class today:
After everyone joined the Zoom session.
1. Most of the kids were dressed in lovely shades of Blue as KG is part of Krishna's Cowboys. We started the class with Opening prayers by chanting Om three times and then we all together chanted
Sahana vavatu.
2.Couple of Kids individually chanted various Lord Ganesha shlokas.
3. During the Brainstorming session, kids were taught that Brotherhood starts with letter B, and we love, share and feel secure with our family and that the whole world is one big family- Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
4. During story time, kids were taught that each one is unique and we need each other to complete the whole picture. Hence we need to appreciate each other's individuality and live together with the brotherhood spirit.
5. During Riddle time, kids were taught that letters O and M are together in the middle of the word Home and HOME means Happy Lord Ever. To have a happy home forever, family prays to God together.
6. Kids were then asked to start coloring the Beach coloring sheet and that's when One of the House Volunteers joined us for House Activities.
7. The House Volunteer explained to kids the House they belong to and the first activity kids were made to do is to make a Flag with paper and color it Blue. Kids enjoyed doing it. And soon we had bright Blue Flags ready.
8. Then the House Volunteer conducted a quiz, asked questions related to various god's names, god's favorite food, etc. Kids happily answered all twenty questions and scored full marks in the quiz.
9. Today's attendance was taken when Kids were doing their house activities.
10. Then we all switched over to House Inaugural Session and got to know about the various competitions and other activities planned. Krishna's Cowboys scored High in the AM Session and after the AM Session House activities, Krishna's Cowboys are ranked Number One and currently leading.
Thank you parents for dressing them up in Blue and for sitting through the session to help the kids. Kids did an 'Awesome job' in the House Activities and we had another exciting session with kids, and kids happily shared with us about their Navaratri and Halloween celebrations.
