Hari Om Parents,
Activities this week included Bal Bhagwatam story, Craft project, Crossword puzzle and presentation by the youths.
Classes resumed on Nov 1st after a gap of two weeks.
Bal Vihar class proceeded in the following order.
1)We started with opening prayers-Om Sahana Vahvatu prayer.
2) Continued the 3rd chapter of the book Krishna, Krishna.
This week rather than narrating the story by the teachers, children were asked to read and narrate. Every child read few paragraphs. This was followed by short discussion.
3)The narration was followed by a craft activity conducted by a guest teacher Indiraji. Children were taught how to make flags of their respective houses. They had lot of fun. All of them proudly displayed their decorative flags.
4) Next activity conducted by guest teacher Indiraji was solving cross word puzzle based on Bal Bhagwatam. There were close to 16 questions which had to answered in certain time. In the alloted time 99% of the questions were correctly answered and the guest teacher was really proud of their knowledge.
5) We then joined another room where youths had presentations of different topics such as enviormental issues and world hunger. Live survey was conducted and the presentations were ranked. Scores were alloted to different houses.
6) We concluded with Aarti and Chinmaya missions pledge.
