Welcome to Week 5 of Balavihar 2020-2021 and the KG Sunday PM session. Today's was a fully packed class with revision of the Alphabets, stores & slokas we have covered thus far, as well as the inauguration of the Balavihar Houses event.

  1. Revision of the Alphabets that we learnt thus far

    1. A - Aspiration 

    2. B - Brotherhood

    3. C - Cleanliness

    4. D - Daddy

    5. E - Enthusiasm

    6. F - Friendship

  2. We learn a new Sloka today for the Goddess of Prosperity & Wealth - Lakshmi

KaraAgre Vasate Lakshmi, 

Kara-Madhye Saraswati

Kara-Moole Sthitaa Gowri, 

Mangalam Kara-Darshanam

  1. We followed this with repeating Ganesha sloka

Eka Dantam,Maha Kayam

  1. We started a brief discussion about our next alphabet G - God.

God is one for everyone

 

The children expressed what they understood by who is God, what God does for them, where they can see God, etc. We will continue this discussion in our next session

  1. We were joined by the House co-ordinators and the kids had fun playing some crossword games and making the craft "Flag" for the house. Following which we joined the common inaugural session.

  2. And we closed with inaugural session with shanti mantras and pledge 

Next Session Agenda

  1. Revise alphabets covered in previous sessions

  2. Proceed with our curriculum on Alphabet Safari and start with letter G & H

  3. Practice our Slokas / Prayers

  4. Geeta Practice Verse#1 and proceed to Verse#2

  5. Continue with the class drawing / craft activities with stories

  6. Please print and have the following slides from this PDF document ready for next week's session:
