Hari Om Parents!
Today was the second class of Balavihar!!
Here is the summary of what we covered in class today:
- After everyone joined the Zoom session.We started the class with Opening prayers by chanting Om three times and then made kids to chant to chant Sahana vavatu and explained the meaning to kids.
- We asked each kid to pick the letter of the alphabet their first name starts with and greet everyone in the class with Hari Om and say their name. This way we took the class attendance. Each kid spoke when it was their turn.
- We did the sanskrit primer with the letters and asked kids to repeat along.
- We did Brain yoga ('Thopakarni'), and tree pose and tiger pose yoga. And then we had an exciting story session through which kids learnt Who is God'? God is the one who can do what no one else can do. Where is God ?God is everywhere. What does he do? God can make everything possible.
- After this, kids did Alphabet Safari coloring with Ekadantam bhajan playing in the back ground and the kids chanted it one time.
- Kids where asked to think about 'How to see God?' for next class.
- For the closing prayer Om Purnamadah one of the kids volunteered to lead and everyone followed after her. She did a wonderful job!!
Another wonderful session today !! Kids volunteered by raising their hand and willingly provided answers to questions and paid attention during each activity.
